Even before the human presence overwhelmed this planet, advanced animals resorted to training and developing the skills of their progenies that helped in the food search. Predators for instance who roamed vast swathes of the planet, had honed the predatory skills of their offspring by exposing them to constantly evolving and innovative skills of stalking and camouflaging while hunting their prey. This training had been passed down to generations of predators allowing them to dominate the food chains till mankind made its appearance.
Man of course has taken the function and art of training to areas herewith unknown and forever treading into uncharted territories. Whereas educational and vocational training is in the realm of exact science, training for the development of soft skills like leadership, communication or even marketing is more abstract. There are no laid-out rules and formats for training in these areas. For instance, numerous pieces of research done by eminent psychologists and scholars conducted over several years have failed to crack the code of the Holy Grail of Leadership. Though scholars have been able to pinpoint the attributes of successful leaders so far they have not been able to come up with an exact theory that can be capsuled into a curriculum that can be fed to a class of aspiring leaders.
Over the years the development of soft skills like leadership, communications, teamwork, etc has been monopolized by management and military institutions of learning. Here professionals try and mix their real-life experiences with knowledge derived from scholarly works and feed their students with the best possible leadership methods. No doubt the best leadership training as always is available in institutions run by the military and some of the best management institutes in the world. Needless to say, very few executives are fortunate to be exposed to such high-end training in soft skills. The mushrooming of B and C-grade management institutions all around has generally not helped in providing adequate training in soft skills. This has led to a huge demand-supply gap of having experienced trainers in the field who poses both deep knowledge of the subject and also have gathered real-life experience having provided leadership to teams and organizations.
Vishwapraman is an endeavor to fill this supply side gap of professional trainers both in the fields of industry and education. Vishwapraman is the brainchild of 4 highly experienced management experts whose credentials not only include being successful in their fields but also having very deep knowledge and experience in leadership, team building, communications, time management, conflict resolution, work-life balance, etc. Between themselves, these professionals bring to the table, more than one hundred and twenty years of diverse leadership experience in organizations of international repute both in the public and private sectors that includes insurance, finance and marketing. Besides this one of them has more than seven years of military leadership experience in one of the most professional militaries of the world (Indian Army). The combined experience of these professionals include dealing with combative labor unions at the grass root levels to leading their teams in cutthroat competitive environments with only the goal of making their organizations numero uno in their respective spheres. In the process they have developed a deep insight into an executive’s needs for training in soft skills which usually is not provided by their organizations or even when provided the training sessions lack understanding and empathy for the trainees.

Our Team
Capt. Arun Kant Mishra
Arun Kant Mishra has a rich experience spanning over four decades, demonstrating excellent leadership skills throughout his remarkable career. He believes in embracing the endless possibilities that exist beyond the confines of the mundane. Starting from his early days as an officer in the Indian Army to senior leadership positions in one of the largest life insurance companies in the world, Arun has a diverse background encompassing a wide range of roles.
Arun’s three guiding principles - Belief, Balance, and Blend - have instilled in him confidence and a sense of direction over the course of nearly a decade of rigorous military life when he led his troops in the midst of combat zones in some of the world’s most militarized regions.
The next 3 decades of his career were dedicated to the life insurance industry, where he assumed pivotal roles as branch and division heads. His exceptional leadership in these roles spanned both marketing and administrative streams. Arun groomed aspiring professionals, nurturing their soft skills, and honing their communication, presentation, and team-building abilities. He cultivated a remarkable group of leaders, who now hold key positions within the Indian life insurance industry.
Extending beyond the boundaries of his industry, Arun now addresses sessions at India’s premier institutions, such as the esteemed National Insurance Academy, and serves as a guest trainer in various other organizations. In the Indian corporate space, his forte is development of leadership, motivational and soft skills amongst young and senior executives. With a wealth of experience and an unwavering passion for guiding others towards fulfilment of aspirations, Captain Arun Kant Mishra stands as a true embodiment of what it means to be an exceptional leader.
Indranil Sarkar
Indranil Sarkar has over thirty years of experience in leadership positions that dealt with marketing and administration. He had worked in leadership positions in some of the most renowned Indian insurance organizations. In these roles, he headed divisions and zones of the insurance companies and intermediaries.
During his tenure as a Divisional and Zonal head, Indranil was actively engaged in training marketing professionals and employees in the industry. His expertise lies in identifying training needs, developing comprehensive training materials, delivering effective training sessions, and evaluating field performance to ensure optimal results. While focusing on sales personnel, he used his skills to enhance their capabilities and drive business growth.
Indranil honed his skills and expertise in highly competitive environments, where he faced competition from not only other life insurance companies, but from banks, and mutual funds. The wealth of experience he has acquired over the years not only contributes to organizational growth but also serves as a valuable resource for the development of sales and administrative personnel, who form the core of any business organization.
In recent years, Indranil has also been involved in guiding international management students from countries such as the US, Canada, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. He has assisted them in successfully completing challenging management assignments, including capstone projects. His guidance and mentorship have proven instrumental in their academic and professional endeavours.
Apart from his professional pursuits, Indranil Sarkar is a passionate follower and analyst of geopolitical and economic events.
